The Madrid clubs pulled off a clean-sweep of the award, with Bellingham taking the glory in the men's division and Caicedo in the women's, leading some online fans to aptly name Los Blancos the "Golden Club".
For the 18-year-old Colombian, however, it's a continuation of her incredible rise over the past six months. She broke out at the 2023 FIFA World Cup for Colombia, helping lead them to the quarterfinals while also scoring hat was eventually voted Goal of the Tournament.
